She tries multilingual classes on preprimary school level an has authored the article “la diversité des langues, vecteuir d’apprentissage.”. Since 1993, she works at the IUFM in training teachers in spanish foreign language  for secondary and primary school. She is interested on research in the intercultural competence of communication, the language adquisition in children less than 6 years and finding bases for a new global didactic in language based on theory of complexity from Edgard Morin. Music is one element which can create this complexity in learning language. She uses this element as arts in language work. She cooperates in research with UAB (ES).

Jacquie is a primary generalist teacher specialised in regional language (Occitan) teaching. She has followed courses in order to improve music and language teaching. She studied English at university. She is also part of a research group that focusses on art and history teaching and the discovery of the regional heritage for school students and tourists. She sang for several years in a Renaissance choir. Her pedagogical interests are music, languages and folk dances.

Author of several articles on particular facilitating the learning of music with children and teenagers with motor disabilities, he has worked since 2006 in IUFM to train music teachers in primary and secondary. It is part of the laboratory LIRDEF at Montpellier IUFM and addresses the problem of speaking about music perception among children and adolescents, mediated by facilitator’s tools: language, body percussions and encodings. There is also a concert pianist and has recorded two discs of piano works of Dom Clement Jacob.
